As Ferrari’s first series-production plug-in hybrid, it combined a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with three electric motors to produce 1,000 cv, delivering four-wheel drive and performance that, even several years after its launch, remains extraordinary. With 0-62 mph taking just 2.5 seconds, the SF90 brought genuine hypercar performance into Ferrari’s series-production range and laid the foundations for the hybrid technology now seen across much of the modern Ferrari line-up.
